Chapel Hill,
Durham and
Raleigh, NC
are the three points of "The Research Triangle" and are the population centers
of Orange County,
Durham County and Wake County, North
Carolina.
Nestled in the rolling,
wooded Piedmont of North Carolina,
our communities are ideally located three hours from the Atlantic coast and
three hours from the Blue Ridge Mountains. Our proximity to these natural
resources, as well as our area lakes, parks, golf and tennis facilities, allows our residents and visitors to enjoy a variety of
outdoor recreational activities.
Our area of North Carolina is known for its mild
weather and natural beauty. We enjoy an average annual temperature of
about 60 but we
also have four distinct seasons. We get an occasional snow in the winter,
brilliant flowers and lush greenery in the spring and summer and a multicolor
display of leaves in the fall.
Our reasonable cost-of-living, quality schools, first-class health care, amateur
and professional sports, arts, entertainment, shopping options and an abundance
of the natural beauty contribute to the high quality of life enjoyed by
residents of Chapel
Hill, Durham, Raleigh and all of the surrounding
communities.
